The Tray4Stray NGO feed and maintenance of stray cats preparing them for the harsh weather condition is in full swing. Tray4Stray is getting close to providing 30,000 plates of food served to stray cats in Tbilisi since February 2021. We are also feeding stray dogs in different areas in the city.
There are so much energy and excitement going on during the feeding sessions where there are about 30+ cats being fed two times a day at different feeding stations. Most of the regulars are the graduates of our TNVR Program. There are new ones who recently joined and most of them are young kittens who are still learning how to get along with the big cats. Not everyone receives a warm welcome but we are keeping a tight watch protecting them especially while they are eating.
They are very smart creatures. They know the time and their assigned areas where to get their meals. Their meals are prepared according to their age and conditions (Pro Plan or Advance for kittens, delicate adults, and sterilized mixed with soft food of the same brand).
We, the Tray4Stray Team, spends minimum of 85 Gel of our own money daily to keep everyone fed. We have very few sponsors but they are super amazing because their contributions help us especially when we are short of funds, no one goes hungry.
